Observations Around Me

High heels and a slicked back pony tail make the young woman look like she means business, clearly determined  to achieve the task shes set out for. Does this girl think it is spring already with those strappy sandles  and light washed capris on? It is still 30 degrees outside and supposed to snow tomorrow! I am jealous of the girl in sweatpants that just walked by, she looks more than comfortable, no judging here.  The little curly haired brunette girl with a pink headband, white stockings and adorable pink dress is clearly excited to hand out her valentines to her classmates next week, discussing intensely with her mother which ones she will decide to purchase. Finally the old man that walks quietly and slowly, with a little hat and a cute little sweater, he holds the door for all that walk in behind him, polite as can be.  His appearance and actions make me question the thought that chivalry his dead, perhaps the young men walking past him as he holds the door can learn a lesson from his silent actions and pay it forward or remember to do so for others throughout their own life.
